Surround Yourself with Literature

Continuing our 3 Month Series over at Path of Positivity:  Surround Yourself with ...  this month we are thinking about Literature!  Surround Yourself with Literature!  The idea is to share how you are inspired by the written word in any form!  Anything from Shakespeare to Saunders; Stan Lee to Plato; Agatha Christie to Emily Dickinson; cooking to car repair; religious studies to Toilet Paper Origami (yes, there's a book for that!) we want to know what you read to feel positive and how it inspires your creativity!

Ok, it's out of the bag....I like kid's books!  I love Shel Silverstein, AA Milne, Fred Rogers, Margery Williams, Hans Christian Anderson, Jan Brett, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Roald Dahl, oh the list goes on and on!  Why?  It makes me smile!  If you go back to the art in my house, I have lots of Victorian Children and angels; so, is it any surprise I would love kid's books?  My sister has an even bigger collection than I do.  That makes it easy to borrow whatever I need.  Now, if she doesn't have it, well my daughter works at the local library!  ; )

I designed this card in Cricut Design Space so I could place the cut circle appropriately and have my tree placed and printed.  Once that was done I cut the children on the swing, the sentiment, and the card front.  This delightful digi stamp and sentiment are called Right Beside You.

I cut away the ropes on the swing and put twine in place of it.  Then I glued the twine in at the tree branches.  When the card is open, the kids can swing through the circle!

Our challenge this month is sponsored by Sparkle n Sprinkle.

Thanks for stopping by; PoP on over to the challenge (where you can learn more about our theme and sponsors) to see what the rest of the team is doing and share with us your thoughts, art, and inspirations!  Our themes are optional now, so we'd love to see anything positive you've been working on even if it doesn't exactly fit the theme.
